How Invisalign Works
The first step is an evaluation where Dr. Joo Young will examine your teeth and take digital images and x-rays. These will be used to create your treatment plan, step by step until the desired results are achieved. This information is sent to an Invisalign lab where several sets of aligners are customized just for you.
In a couple of weeks, we’ll have you return to our office to give you your aligners and explain how to use them. You will be instructed to wear each set of aligners for about two weeks then move to the next set in the series. Invisalign aligners can be removed for eating and oral hygiene, but you must wear them at least 22 hours a day to see results in the shortest amount of time.
